Statement by Repubblika, #occupyjustice, and manueldelia.com:
We’ll get there: Protest for Justice and Change
There is a group of people in our country that do not want us to get there. They are scared of justice. They are doing all they can to resist change.
We are determined to get there. And we will.
Repubblika’s win yesterday at the Constitutional Court was historic. Magistrate Nadine Lia obstructed justice instead of fighting criminals. The highest court of the land said we had been right.
The first revolution we need to do is in our mind. We need to believe that Joseph Muscat and his gang are not invincible. We can defeat them and secure justice and change. They are scared of justice.
Repubblika, #occupyjustice, and manueldelia.com are calling a protest with the theme: “We will arrive. A protest for Justice and Change” for Sunday 23 October in Valletta at 15:30. The protest starts in front of Parliament.
The protest will march down Republic Street where the President of Repubblika and other speakers will speak.
We call Maltese and Gozitans of good will to join us on Sunday afternoon in our effort to clean up our country.
