After an unbelievable fourteen hours of reflection, Consuelo Scerri Herrera, backed out of the inquiry into the barbaric assassination of Daphne Caruana Galizia.
She cited European case law that reminds us justice must not merely be done but must be seen to be done.
It will next go to the Chief Justice and a lottery to find out who will be conducting this inquiry.
