Chris Cardona needs to keep his friends close.

He has just confirmed his colleague Helena Dalli’s son Luke to chair the Copyright Board. We know that Luke’s mummy wants to be sure her boys are nicely set up on government sinecures. But it helps having a little extra on the side.

This complements the other work Chris Cardona engaged Luke Dalli to do for his Ministry, clearly not because of his family connections, but because of his merits as an experienced lawyer in the business for a handful of years.

Frederick Cutajar, Labour councillor of many years of service, is also confirmed to the same board.
