This week, the Deputy Prime Minister of Joseph Muscat and the Deputy Prime Minister of Robert Abela, Chris Fearne, is testifying at the inquiry looking into the killing of Daphne Caruana Galizia.

He’s testifying three years after the murder.

Two months after the murder, in December of 2017, he had firmly held views. They were summed up in an interview he gave to DW’s Tim Sebastian.

I think it’s worth watching that interview again. Some things he said back then may inform our understanding of what he says this week in court.
