This is not about a memorial to Daphne Caruana Galizia, Mr Martin Scicluna. She’d have hated the thought. This is about continuing the protest demanding justice in the face of government suppression. It’s not even about where the protest congregates and what form it takes. It’s about a government that thinks they can, just because they are.

No one with a shred of democratic sincerity in their system can abide the sweeping away of peaceful protest, whatever the cause.

Anyone with a shred of democratic pride should join this protest. Every night they censor it, sweeping away the protest made by citizens. Every day citizens come back to rekindle hope.

This was Great Siege Square last night. It’s gone this morning.
