Every four days, a journalist is murdered, often because he or she denounced corruption, trafficking, political wrongdoing or human rights abuses. Those responsible for these killings are almost never brought to justice.

This website is proud to be part of the UNESCO’s campaign #TruthNeverDies on the occasion of the International Day to End Impunity for Crimes against Journalists being marked today November 2nd. The campaign urges everyone to spread the work of journalists who were killed and to perpetuate their legacy. Their killings affect the whole society because they prevent free circulation of information and all citizens’ expression of opinions and ideas.

These journalists were killed to silence them. In light of this, it is important to send the message that the truth will not die, by publishing stories of these journalists in the media and demanding that justice be done.
