29 months. 126 weeks. The assassination of Daphne Caruana Galizia deprived a family of a wife, mother, sister and daughter. It also deprived us of her voice as an independent journalist, crucial to our fragile democracy and our right to know the truth. They tried to silence her to cover their crimes. They tried to erase all memory of a journalist and her work but we will not let that happen.
Please tune in at 6.30pm this evening to the facebook page of either #occupyjustice or Repubblika. For the first time in 29 months, we cannot gather at the Law Courts to hold a protest vigil but we ask you instead to gather ‘virtually’ at the time we would normally be at the memorial, to remember Daphne and continue our call for justice.
