In my March 3rd story on Satabank I wrote that MyPos, a UK company related to some of the ultimate beneficial ownership of SataBank, was “investigated” for use of its equipment by fraudsters.
My report should have stated that fraudsters were investigated, not the supplier of the equipment they use. The error in my report occurred after I reported on a similar report in the Luxembourg press that I subsequently learnt was the subject of legal action in the Luxembourg courts.
I have verified that I have no reason to believe MyPos and its owners are in any way suspected of being complicit in fraud in the incidents referred to in my original report or any other.
I regret casting an unfair shadow on MyPos and its owners.
Upon the request of lawyers for the parties mentioned in that report and in view of the error explained in this post, the original March 3rd post is being retracted.
